Course Information
Have you considered getting into the hot seat of a career in Mining? With Gold Training's Nationally Recognised Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations you will develop real the world skills for a sought after multi-skilled operator. Upon completion of all components of this qualification, participants will also receive their Surface Coal Mine Safety Skill Set, otherwise known as the Standard 11 which are the competencies required for access to sites in Queensland.
There are no formal entry requirements, however, it is preferred that participants display initiative and have some experience or interest in a career within the resources industry.
This qualification can compliment and enhance existing knowledge and is a great bridging course to prepare participants for a career in mining or to improve their knowledge and skills to take the next step in their mining or civil career.

Complete the Gold Training Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations:
- Through a workplace as a traineeship over a 12 to 24 month time frame

The User Choice program provides a public funding contribution towards the cost of training and assessment services for eligible Queensland apprentices and trainees.
Participants may be eligible for funding under the Queensland Government User Choice Program to undertake a traineeship with their employer, through Gold Training.
